Experience the magic of Northern Norway as humpback whales and orcas move through the Arctic fjords in search of herring. From the warmth and comfort of our spacious catamaran, you can watch these incredible animals surrounded by snow-covered mountains and dramatic winter landscapes. Our vessel offers plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, making it easy to find the perfect place to enjoy the view. The heated saloon has seating for up to 85 guests, while several spacious outdoor decks give you excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife watching. The large aft deck alone offers approximately 50 m² of open viewing space, with additional areas around the wheelhouse and on the forward deck. Built in Norway in 1998, the 24.9-metre catamaran is designed for comfortable travel along the coast. With a width of 9 metres and a cruising speed of approximately 18–20 knots, it provides a stable and comfortable platform as we travel towards the whales' feeding grounds. During the journey, your experienced guide will share stories and insights about the whales, their behaviour and their seasonal migration. When whales are spotted, the captain will position the vessel carefully to give guests good viewing opportunities while always respecting the animals and keeping a safe distance. You can move between the warm indoor saloon and the outdoor decks throughout the trip. There are two toilets onboard, including one accessible toilet, and drinks and light refreshments are available from our onboard service counter. The relaxed pace gives you time to take in both the wildlife and the spectacular Arctic scenery. Keep an eye out for whale spouts against the mountains, or the unforgettable moment an orca or humpback surfaces close to the boat. Respecting the whales We always keep a responsible distance and aim to minimise disturbance to the animals. Whales are wild and naturally curious, and they may occasionally choose to approach or swim near the vessel. Please note that whale sightings cannot be guaranteed. The exact start and end of the whale watching season may also change depending on the whales' natural migration patterns.
